Now, if you’ve been to Glastonbury you will know it’s the best place on earth. And if you haven’t been, you’ll know what everyone that goes to Glastonbury says it’s the best place on earth. They’re right, there’s a certain vibe and energy at Glasto that doesn’t happen anywhere else. As soon as you put on your incredibly heavy rucksack, get that fabric band around your wrist and drag yourself through those gates pilled up with booze, you get the best feeling ever.
I’ve been twice now and I will continue to try to get tickets every year for the rest of time! This year I went with an amazing group of girls, we’d not all met before but had friends of friends, work friends, sisters and we got on like a house on fire. Committing to spending 6 days and 24 hours a day together is a lot and I’m honestly so chuffed that our group worked so well!
The list of bands/artists we saw, late night silent disco dancing, laughs upon laughs and crazy moments we had were unreal! The post Glasto blues are in full swing and I can help but constantly be like ‘oh this time last week…’! I spent hardly any time on my phone (other than trying to find people in a massive crowd), totally forgot about the outside world and truly immersed myself in the sacred field that is Glastonbury.
